that might either be because you text a lot or you overcharge your battery so much that its starting to ruin it. but i highly doubt that T-mobile would send you a shitty battery. you might wanna look into getting a new one .they are like wallpapers like screensavers for your home screen some interact with your finger touch but only i think android 2.1 and 2.2 can do it probably 2.3 .
