Samsung Galaxy S II hands-on

The new Samsung Galaxy S II is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone with a dual core processor and a large, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display. The phone features an 8MP, 1080p HD capable camera and the new Samsung TouchWiz 4.0 user interface.
The samsung is much better performance wise. The desire hd looks muchs better and the screen makes up for a much bigger area on the htc. Just hate the black spaces on phones without "screen". I have the desire hd and I'm 100% satisfied! The battery on the desire hd lasts as long as on a laptop, if you'll use it like one and u will:). Go with the samsung. It just has much better specs! The only reason why I chose the htc is because of the proportionally big screen.
